Since 2014, I have been fortunate to practice yoga with Diana. In July 2021, as a result of an autoimmune crisis, I was unable to walk smoothly, run, walk down stairs or hills, and my coordination and balance were off. With plenty of time on my hands to contemplate the future during a seven day hospital stay, I contacted Diana to ask if she could help me start to move again. DIana’s quick and positive response filled me with hope.
Today, three years later, I consider Diana’s private lessons and on-going group classes an essential element to my almost full recovery and a catalyst for important life changes.
For all of the above reasons, I give thanks not only to my body but to you, Diana, for all that you bring to my life and those who are closest to me. Not a day goes by without me giving thanks to you for getting me back on my feet.

Diana is one of the smartest, warmest teachers I know. It is always such a beautiful and wonderful gift to take from this kind, open and thoughtful human. She is truly a teacher's teacher. In my 25 years of practicing and 17 years of teaching, I can be selective in who I choose to learn yoga from. Time and time again, I know Diana is a teacher who I can trust and will continue to return to her teachings for many years to come. A genuine gem!

Practicing with Diana has been a truly enjoyable and beneficial experience, positively impacting both my physical and mental well-being in various ways. Her mindful yet challenging teaching approach played a big role in aiding my recovery from a knee injury, allowing me to regain range of motion and strength. Diana's emphasis on adjusting the practice to suit my body has not only helped me maintain flexibility but also helped my performance in physical activities such as cycling and running. Above all, Diana's ability to make the practice engaging, challenging, and fun has been instrumental in keeping me motivated and consistently returning to the mat.

Practicing yoga with Diana for the past four years has been a wonderful experience. Diana encourages a well rounded approach to yoga which benefits me physically, mentally and spiritually. Her approach has allowed me to understand that I will aways feel better for having spent some time on my yoga mat.
I appreciate that Diana shares her knowledge of the human anatomy and its relationship to holding yoga poses which allows me to comfortably and safely hold the poses. This is very important to me as a 64 year old woman who has years of joint wear and tear from running, hiking and biking, along with limitations due to previous injuries and a recent diagnosis of osteoporosis. I appreciate learning how to use my muscles to hold poses in order to protect my joints and bones. I have also learned to adapt poses to suite my body.
I plan to continue practicing yoga with Diana and highly recommend her to anyone (beginner or long time practitioner) who is interestd in practicing yoga with an amazing yoga teacher.

Diana has nurtured my enthusiasm for yoga, while also nurturing her own curiosity about the connections between the mind and the body.
Her yoga practice is not just a regular yoga experience, it’s a progression of understanding, learning how the body works, how the communication within the body travels, emphasizing that communication happens not just from brain down, but from the body up.
Enhancing some of these communication pathways, like through foot stimulation, has helped improve my balance and ease of walking - I have had substantial improvement in foot pain since being aware of these new techniques.
Through Diana‘s learning, I have been able to expand my understanding of how I listen to, and treat my body.

I have been working with Diana for almost a decade - it began with working on poses because of my “wonky” knee. She had the keen insight to help me with my crooked knee to get deeper and feel the benefits of the poses. Last April (April 2023), I got a total knee replacement and she changed the focus to assist my physical therapy, strengthening glutes & hips.
Diana recently showed me the somatic practices she’s learning and has been incorporating them in our private sessions. I have extreme flat feet and plantar fasciitis, I have been experiencing foot cramping when I’m in child’s pose or even when I’m driving! Diana showed me skin stimulation - 3 minutes on each foot. She assigned homework to do daily – that was 2 months ago - and I haven’t stopped. My foot cramps have diminished and it’s not as painful when I do have cramping - not a coincidence the skin on the bottom of my feet have softened, too!
In Diana’s practices, I am made more aware of the anatomy of the body - how it works, what’s connected and how. She has made me more observant of my body’s reactions to poses. She often reminds me that what was “good” yesterday, may not be today - and that’s ok! I hope to be able to continue with Diana until the time when my yoga consists of breathing & being present - but until then - here’s to learning about my body and how it moves!
